INNER MOUNTAINS

INNER MOUNTAINS is Tutomonda's first release, and it features João Svayam (drums), José Lencastre (sax), and Francisco Morato (bass) as its sound sculptures and Nuno Mangas-Viegas as its artwork wizard. In Nuno's words:

'Inner Mountains' is somewhat the imp of a journey towards a higher and innermost place.These mountains are the urge for exploration... where music can be a dimension of reunion, a state of togetherness, and where its own boundaries can always be rewritten.'Inner Mountains' is an album that explores the idea of digging inward. to reach an upwards state through a constant, and not always in agreement, dialogue of instruments. It gives us this distinct sense of a mountain not to be risen but to be dug...
