PÁSSARO DE LUZ

O Poema (A)Corda was born in 2008, gave its first concert in 2009, roamed Extremadura and Galiza around 2011, recorded their first album in 2012, collaborated with the A Besta collective from 2013 to 2015, and then entered a ten-year hiatus—until now.
What moved us back then moves us now. It is a mutual thirst. "It arose as a question and as an answer, as a desire and an eagerness to tread new paths, to challenge and test how far poetry and music can furrow the same land… From here sprang an awakening and provocative symbiosis.
Music and poetry come together in a single, hybrid entity…"
Nuno Mangas Viegas and João Sousa (now Svayam) celebrate this comeback, as well as Nuno's birthday (26 January), with this EP released by Tutmonda Sound Label.
